Flash Light Tag

This was one of my favorites!! Depending on how many players you have, you need to split into 2 even teams. One team sets off and each individual on the team hides in separate locations within the boundaries set~ the bigger the yard, the better, and playing in the woods is the best!

The other team is armed with flashlights and embarks on finding the hiding team's members. Once found and spotted with the flashlights, they must go to jail. Jail is a place designated by both teams.

When all have been found and are in jail, it is the other team's turn to hide. A variation we would sometimes play, was to allow the team hiding to set their teammates free from jail, only if they could get to them without being spotted by the seeking team's flashlights. Usually we would leave a spotter to keep an eye on the jail, but those summer nights can get pretty dark and some of us were pretty sneaky!
