Red Rover

All the kids in the neighborhood would gather at one person's house and we would divide into two teams, holding hands forming a line.

We would call "Red Rover, Red Rover we dare " and then call someone from the other team to come over. The person we called would run as fast as they could and try to break through our linked arms. If they broke through, they would get to go back to their team and take someone from the team that called them, with them.

If the line would hold and no arms were broken, then the runner would have to stay with the team that called them. It provided hours of fun and many great memories.
